Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential employers to identify job opportunities for students.
- Coordinate with faculty and staff to understand the skills and competencies required by the industry and align training programs accordingly.
- Organize and conduct career development workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance students’ job-seeking skills, interview techniques, and resume writing.
- Assist students in identifying their career goals and creating individualized career development plans.
- Provide one-on-one career counseling to students, helping them explore career options, clarify their career aspirations, and develop action plans.
- Collaborate with academic departments to incorporate industry-specific training modules into the curriculum.
- Maintain an updated database of student profiles, including their skills, qualifications, and placement preferences.
- Liaise with alumni to leverage their professional networks and create job opportunities for current students.
- Organize and oversee campus recruitment drives, including job fairs, on-campus interviews, and networking events.
- Monitor and track the placement status of students, maintaining accurate records of their employment outcomes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, labor market demands, and emerging career opportunities.
- Prepare reports and presentations on student employability, placement statistics, and career development initiatives for management and stakeholders.
